Group Surf Lesson in Byron Bay for Beginners & Improvers

Get into the surf on Byron Bay’s local beaches in a supportive group lesson suited to beginners and improving surfers. Learn with no more than 8 surfers per coach, giving you structured guidance as you develop your technique.

• Learn surf safety and ocean awareness before entering the water
• Practice paddling techniques and catching waves with expert guidance
• Build your balance with step-by-step instruction on standing up

Itinerary

1. Meet at 16 Lawson Street, Byron Bay, for departure at 10:00 or 14:00.
2. Join a guided surfing lesson with Byron Bay Surf School for 2 hours 30 minutes.
3. Return to 16 Lawson Street at 12:30 for the morning departure or 16:30 for the afternoon departure.

• Swimming ability required; this lesson is not suitable for non-swimmers
