Floating the Colorado River through Moab's red rock canyon walls is the kind of experience that ends up on highlight reels, and the guides here seem to be a big reason why. Names like Sandy, Santo, Nate, Teal, and Shawn come up again and again, praised for being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely invested in making the trip memorable. Safety briefings are thorough without being stiff, and guides regularly share local history, geology, and wildlife spotting along the way. The range of trips is worth noting. From flat water kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding to canyoneering combos and night kayaking, there seems to be something for most comfort levels, including first-timers who have never touched a paddle. Guides are consistently described as patient and encouraging, which clearly makes a difference for nervous beginners. The flexibility shown when conditions change, like swapping routes due to cold weather, also speaks well to how the crew operates. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add a water element to a Moab itinerary.
We had a truly brilliant experience with this group last week. We chose the flat water afternoon kayak. It was the perfect activity after our hikes and national parks days. Our guides Klee and Teal were both very friendly informed and fun. They take your safety very seriously and did a very thorough briefing before we got in the water. It was reassuring to know they wanted everyone to have fun but also be safe. The experience itself was the stuff of bucket list dreams. Lazy river for a few miles with the huge red cliffs either side. Honestly could have done this every day it was so peaceful and good. Great job Klee and Teal. (Plus the other guy who helped unload the boats I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) 6 stars :)
