Important details
- Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time; the shuttle departs promptly with the tide
- Complete the liability waiver before the tour; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
- Use the complimentary shuttle from the shop; parking is unavailable at the launch site
- Wear a personal flotation device throughout the experience
- Ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian
- Single kayaks are for ages 12+ and require paddling with the current for 2–3 hours with breaks
- Tandem kayaks require one adult-strength paddler or two paddlers ages 12+
- Wear weather-appropriate clothing that can get wet and bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
- Expect lighthouse entry to depend on weather and safety conditions
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before start. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged full price.

FAQs
Use the paid parking lot in front of the shop at 8 Western Ave. Free parking is also available at 30 North St., Kennebunkport, about a 0.6-mile walk from the shop.
Younger children may not provide much assistance with paddling. Plan to do most of the paddling when sharing a tandem kayak with a younger child.
Bring personal electronic devices if you wish. A dry box for your phone and wallet is included, but lost or damaged devices are not the operator's responsibility.
