Capybara Meet & Greet in Helen

Visitors consistently rave about the intimate, hands-on nature of this capybara encounter. The small group sizes (around 8 people) create a relaxed atmosphere where guests can genuinely connect with the animals. Capybaras are described as sweet, active, and surprisingly interactive – sitting in laps, eating from hands, and even nuzzling guests. The experience includes other surprise animals like fennec foxes, and many reviewers mention being pleasantly surprised by how much time they got with the animals, with even shorter sessions feeling substantial. The staff earns high marks for being knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. Multiple families mention how well the guides explain proper interaction techniques to ensure everyone (including the animals) has a positive experience. The team has shown flexibility with rescheduling when needed, and several reviews highlight specific staff members like Grace for making the encounter special. Parents especially appreciate how engaging this is for all ages, from young kids to teenagers, making it a memorable family outing. Note that fox encounters require booking the longer VIP experience rather than the 30-minute basic visit.
