Kayak through Chickamauga Dam’s lock and descend as the water level drops from Chickamauga Lake to the Tennessee River. Follow your guide downriver and hear how the dam shaped nearby communities.
Ages 7+ and minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All trips run on Eastern Time and all participants must sign a waiver. Disclose medical conditions (including inability to swim) to your guide before the trip.
Cancel up to 14 days before for a full refund. 13–4 days before: refund minus $20 per person. 72–49 hours before: 50% refund. No refunds within 48 hours of start. Reschedule up to 48 hours before start at no cost. No-shows are not eligible for refunds or reschedules.

Dress in clothing layers for all seasons. In summer, wear synthetic shorts and a synthetic T-shirt with sandals or tennis shoes. In fall and winter, wear a short-sleeve synthetic underlayer, a long-sleeve synthetic layer, and a synthetic jacket, plus tennis shoes or river sandals with a backstrap and synthetic or wool socks. Bring a 1-liter water bottle.
