Step aboard Cowgirl, a 45’ Hatteras built for comfort, stability, and serious offshore fishing in Key West. Fish reefs, wrecks, and deep water for mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, snapper, and shark with a professional, family-friendly crew.
Private charter for up to 6 guests of any age and experience. Arrive 15 minutes early and complete digital waivers before boarding. Standard departures are 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM; the captain may adjust plans or cancel for safety and conditions.
What times do trips depart?
Standard departures are 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Alternate times may be available by request.
When should we arrive and where do we meet?
Please arrive 15 minutes early. You’ll receive a text the night before with exact meeting details. Look for the dock sign behind the boat.
How many people can go?
Up to 6 guests (USCG limit).
What’s included in the price?
All bait, tackle, rods, reels, and fishing licenses are included. Ice and fish cleaning are provided, and the cabin is air-conditioned.
What should we bring?
Bring food and drinks, sun protection, non-marking or non-slip shoes, a camera or phone, and completed digital waivers.
Can we drink alcohol onboard?
Yes, adult beverages are welcome. Please drink responsibly.
Do you allow kids and beginners?
Yes. This is a family-friendly charter with hands-on coaching for beginners.
What can we catch, and can we keep fish?
Target species include mahi, wahoo, tuna, sailfish, snapper, and shark. Legal, edible fish may be kept at your request; others are released.
Who cleans the fish?
The mate cleans and bags your legal catch and can suggest local restaurants to cook it.
How long is the ride to the fishing grounds?
Travel time varies by conditions and trip length, balancing run time and fishing time.
What if the weather looks bad?
If conditions are unsafe, trips are rescheduled or refunded according to policy.
I get seasick — any tips?
If prone to motion sickness, take medication the night before and again in the morning as directed.
Do I need to sign anything?
Yes. All guests must complete digital waivers before arrival.
Are there any medical or mobility restrictions?
Guests with medical or mobility limitations should inform the captain before departure. You should be able to move safely on a rocking deck.
Full refund if you cancel at least 12 hours before departure. For private charters, 7 days’ notice is requested. Bookings made within 24 hours are non-refundable. If you cancel with less than 7 days’ notice, you may reschedule for a fee. No-shows forfeit fare. If we cancel for weather or mechanical issues, you receive a full refund. Seasickness is not refundable.
