Important details
- Rental eligibility: over 18
- Maximum combined weight: 600 pounds, including passengers and gear
- A valid boating safety certificate is required for the boat operator only, not passengers. A New Jersey certificate is preferred; an equivalent certificate from another state is accepted. A driver's license boat endorsement does not qualify. Bring your certificate; without it, you'll be denied the rental.
- Bring a valid photo ID.
- A refundable $50 cash damage deposit is due at check-in and is not included in the listed price. It is returned after inspection if the boat is in its original condition; some or all may be retained for damage to the boat or equipment.
- Stay south of Buoy 42 and west of Buoy 45. Trips to Tice's Shoal, Barnegat Inlet, or Long Beach Island are not permitted. Leaving the permitted area results in forfeiture of your deposit and refusal of future rentals.
- Use the boat for crabbing and fishing only. No towing or watersports.
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund or credit with at least 48 hours' cancellation notice. Cancellations within 48 hours and no-shows are nonrefundable; no-shows are charged the full price. Receive a full refund or credit if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
