Important details

• Ages 13+ to ride an e-bike. Ages 13–15 require a parent on the ride. Ages 16–17 may ride alone, but a parent must be present to sign the waiver and take responsibility for the bike's condition.
• Rider weight must be under 250 lbs.
• Proficient bicycle-riding skills, balance and coordination are required. Routes share city streets with vehicle traffic, sometimes without bike lanes, and may require turns across traffic. E-bikes are heavier and faster than traditional bicycles.
• Not recommended if you have back or heart problems.
• For child passengers, infant seats have a 33 lb weight limit; child seats have a 40 lb limit. Infant and toddler seats have a maximum height of 43 inches. Trailers carry up to two children, with a limit of 50 lbs each and 100 lbs total.
• Bring a government-issued ID for the person paying.
• Bring a major credit card for the person paying; it is required at pickup.
• City-lot parking is not included. Rates range from $2 to $8 per hour depending on location and seasonal demand, with enforcement daily from 10 AM to 6 PM; parking is free outside those hours.
• Wear a helmet and sign the waiver before riding.
• Keep bikes off the beach.
