Know before you go

• Arrive 15 minutes before your tour time
• Allow extra travel time for park entrance lines and possible road-construction delays
• Use the parking lot restrooms before hiking; no restrooms are available after you leave the lot
• Store all food and strongly scented items in the parking lot food-storage lockers
• Requires a steep half-mile hike on a narrow trail with uneven surfaces
• Not suitable for wheelchairs, walkers, or strollers
• Not recommended for respiratory or heart conditions, limited mobility, heat-related illness susceptibility, or conditions worsened by strenuous summer activity
• Vehicles over 22 feet (6.7 meters) and towed trailers are not allowed on Cave Road
• Pets are not allowed on the trail or inside the cave; service animals are allowed
• Leave food, tripods, selfie sticks, trekking poles, and backpacks outside the cave
• Keep all items in your pockets except a camera and water bottle
