- Driver experience requirement: at least 2 years of boating experience and safe vessel-handling competency
- Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need a Florida Boating License or Florida Temporary Boating Certificate
- Driver eligibility requires no marine losses, significant-damage boating accidents, or vessel insurance claims within the past 5 years
- Driver eligibility requires no boating under the influence, driving under the influence, theft, fraud, reckless-operation, or violent-crime convictions within the past 5 years
- Fluent communication with staff is required; interpreters cannot relay emergency or breakdown instructions
- Return the boat with a full tank; fuel is not included in the listed price
- A $150 fee not included in the listed price applies for exceeding the 15-mile range outside Destin Pass
- A minimum $50 cleaning fee not included in the listed price applies for excessive dirtiness
