Know before you go

• Arrive 20 minutes before your rental to review vessel operation; rental times cannot be adjusted for late arrival
• Drivers must be at least 21, have at least two years of boating experience, and be competent to operate the vessel safely
• Drivers must communicate fluently with staff and understand safety and operating instructions without an interpreter
• Drivers must not have had significant marine losses, boating accidents, or vessel insurance claims in the past five years
• Drivers must not have relevant criminal convictions, including boating or driving under the influence, in the past five years
• Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need a Florida Boating License or Florida Temporary Boating Certificate
• Return the boat with a full tank of fuel; you are responsible for refueling at the marina
• Children age 6 and under must wear a life vest at all times; life vests are not provided for children under 13
• Stay within 15 miles outside Destin Pass or pay a $150 fee
• Excessive dirt may incur a minimum $50 cleaning fee; late returns cost $50 per 15 minutes
• Florida residents need an annual saltwater fishing license; nonresidents need an annual, 3-day, or 7-day license
