Dining Train Ride Through Trough Canyon at Sunset

Settle into a restored, climate-controlled dining car for upgraded meal service and views of the Trough. This evening excursion travels south to Sycamore Bridge before returning.

• Depart at 5pm one Friday each month from May through October
• Travel approximately 35 miles round-trip through the Trough
• Enjoy upgraded meal service at 2- and 4-top tables
• Stay onboard for the full excursion with no layover
• Experience seating in a restored dining car with varying layouts and décor

Important details

• Ages 17+ only
• Arrive 30–60 minutes before departure; boarding begins 30 minutes prior
• Check in at the blue caboose ticket office before boarding
• Appetizer, salad, entree, and dessert selections are required
• Leave outside food and beverages off the train
• Leave pets at home; Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-defined service animals are allowed
• Bring cash for onboard concessions
• Expect separate reservations may be seated together during high demand or limited capacity
