Paddle with fewer kayaks for less disturbance to wildlife
3 hrs
Kayak & gear, naturalist guide
Explore by kayak on a leisurely guided outing focused on observing nature. The tandem kayaks keep the number of boats on the water down, reducing disturbance to wildlife and making communication with your guide easier.
Visit a lovely creek in the wilderness of North Fort Myers. This is part of our estuary system, with many plants and animals. We visit a bird rookery, with many birds coming in to roost for the night and then at dusk we will see the bats come out of their hiding places. Learn about these very interesting, ancient and important creatures from your Certified Florida Master Naturalist guide.
