Rory is the real star here. An Australian who somehow knows more about Houston than most locals, he leads walking tours of downtown and the EaDo neighborhood with infectious enthusiasm, sharp humor, and a genuinely impressive depth of knowledge about the city's history, architecture, and culture. Reviewers consistently mention walking away surprised by how much they learned, even longtime residents. The tours cover landmarks, street art, local restaurants, and hidden gems, wrapping up with a sunset view or optional bar hopping. The EaDo food tour gets particular praise for spotlighting small, community-rooted restaurants alongside the neighborhood's vibrant character. The reviews here are overwhelmingly glowing, with no real complaints to speak of. If you're looking for a fun, laid-back way to explore Houston, whether you're new to the city or have lived here for years, Rory delivers an experience that leaves people genuinely wanting more.
The food was exceptionally delicious. The decor is very pleasant. Initially, we were a bit disappointed that we, as a couple, were forced to sit at the bar (tables are reserved for 3 people or more), but in the end, we definitely didn't regret it; it was much more comfortable and we had a great view of the kitchen. All the dishes were excellent! The service was also excellent. The discovery of the year for us! The only downside was the Riesling, which we believe is a natural wine. When we said we really didn't like it, they changed it without any problem. We will definitely be back!!!
