Reviewers consistently rave about his charismatic personality and engaging delivery style, with many Houston natives admitting they learned more about their own city in a few hours than they had in years of living there. The tours cover downtown landmarks, hidden architectural gems, and fascinating historical tidbits, often ending at scenic viewpoints or transitioning into bar hopping. The walking tours work well for diverse groups, from tourists to long-time locals looking to rediscover Houston from a fresh perspective. The EaDo food tour is another popular option, showcasing the neighborhood's cultural diversity through its restaurants and street art. Multiple reviewers mention receiving an "ultimate guide to Houston" resource after the tour. With perfect ratings across the board, people appreciate how Rory balances education with entertainment, making 2-3 hour walks feel engaging rather than tiring. His passion for the city genuinely shines through, creating memorable experiences that several reviewers call highlights of their Houston visit.
The food was exceptionally delicious. The decor is very pleasant. Initially, we were a bit disappointed that we, as a couple, were forced to sit at the bar (tables are reserved for 3 people or more), but in the end, we definitely didn't regret it; it was much more comfortable and we had a great view of the kitchen. All the dishes were excellent! The service was also excellent. The discovery of the year for us! The only downside was the Riesling, which we believe is a natural wine. When we said we really didn't like it, they changed it without any problem. We will definitely be back!!!
