- Ages 8+ only
- Ages 8–13 require an adult in the same kayak; ages 14–17 require an adult on the tour
- Weight limit 240 lbs per person and 425 lbs combined per two-person kayak
- Requires good physical condition for muddy, slippery, uneven terrain, river wading, large rocks, steep inclines, and potentially strenuous kayaking
- Not wheelchair accessible
- Cannot accommodate pregnancy, recent surgery, neck, back, arm, or leg conditions or casts, epilepsy, heart conditions, or dizziness
- Requires effective verbal communication in English or Spanish and comfort in dark environments
- Not suitable for anyone prone to panic or showing signs of drug or alcohol intoxication
- Saturday departures are about one hour longer and more strenuous, requiring strong fitness and the ability to bring your knees to your chest
- Wear closed-toe shoes with grip that can get wet; sandals, water shoes, and flip-flops are not allowed
- Bring hiking clothes that can get wet, a bathing suit, towel, change of clothes, water bottle, and money for dinner
- Keep phones and cameras waterproof; do not bring valuables or items that cannot get wet
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before check-in. Groups of 10+ can cancel up to 2 weeks before the excursion for a full refund. Later cancellations, late arrivals, and no-shows are fully charged. If the operator cancels due to weather, you may reschedule, choose another tour, or receive a full refund.
