- All passengers count toward the group size, regardless of age
- For charters of up to 6 passengers, the primary charterer must be age 21+
- Groups of 7–13 are Bareboat Charters and require an independent captain or operator
- Self-operation requires a USCG Master's license, 100 days of Lake Tahoe experience, and insurance covering the boat and marina
- If using a captain from the referral list, captain and fuel cost $100 per hour, paid directly on arrival and not included in the listed price
- Captain gratuity is not included in the listed price
- Leave pets, glass, red wine, and overly messy foods behind
Cancellation Policy
Receive a full refund when you cancel more than 10 days before your booking. Cancellations within 10 days and no-shows are nonrefundable. Fourth of July Fireworks, Memorial Day Weekend, Fourth of July week, and Labor Day Weekend bookings are nonrefundable within one month. Full refund if the operator cancels, including weather cancellations determined by the operator.

FAQs
Yes. If your group is over 6 passengers, US Coast Guard regulations require a bareboat charter and you pay the captain separately in addition to your prepaid charter fee. An additional $100 per hour is due on arrival and paid directly to your captain (cash, Venmo, or Zelle). If you book 7+ passengers but arrive with fewer, you still pay this additional $100 per hour.
Arrive at the marina at least 30 minutes before your charter (longer on weekends and holidays) and plan to be at the boat 20 minutes before departure. Late arrival shortens your time on the lake.
Yes. Bring your own food, snacks, and drinks. Water is provided, and the boat has a cooler or small refrigerator; ice isn’t provided, so bring your own.
