Bring closed-toe shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, and insect repellent.
Expect shared 6- or 10-seat airboats. Your group may be split between boats, and other people may ride with you. Toddlers must have an assigned seat, even if sitting on your lap.
Visit the Everglades City Boardwalk at Captain Jack's, then drive 5 miles to Wooten's on US-41 for the animal sanctuary, alligator show, and baby alligator hugs. The boardwalk closes at 4 p.m., and the last alligator show starts at 4 p.m.

We did enjoy the experience, unfortunately the weather was terrible and it rained heavily throughout, which obviously affected the experience. However what disappointed us most was that the tour felt very rushed. We would have loved to learn more about the Everglades ecosystem, the wildlife and the area. We felt the experience could have been more engaging and informative. Overall we loved the airboat tour.
