- Pickup is generally 10:30–11:30 p.m. but may be earlier or later based on weather and aurora forecasts
- Transportation covers properties in Fairbanks or North Pole within 25 miles of the airport; properties farther away have an additional fuel charge, amount not stated
- Expect outdoor bathroom breaks in remote areas, where plumbing is generally unavailable
- Children under 5 may require a private tour to accommodate vehicle safety seats
- Tours may be canceled or rescheduled when weather precludes aurora viewing
- A $10 temporary fuel surcharge per booking applies and is not included in the listed price; it is refunded if Interior Alaska fuel is below $4.00 per gallon on your tour date

Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations more than 30 days before the tour. From 14–30 days, receive a 50% refund if a date change is unavailable. Deposits are nonrefundable within 14 days; no refunds are given 7–14 days before the tour or within 48 hours. Full refund if the operator cancels.
FAQs
Sign the waiver before your tour.
Bring boots, hand and toe warmers, extra wool socks, mittens or gloves, a hat and scarf that cover your ears, and a phone charger or battery bank. Electronics can drain quickly in the cold.
Bring backup batteries and a tripod for your camera. Tripods and Sony camera rentals are also available as add-ons for the Fairbanks Aurora Chase Tour.
