Within 10 minutes I hear the laughing and splashing sounds of my girlfriend catching her first trout, and a native cutthroat at that! He put us on some really nice fish (17-18 inches) and lost a couple of monsters, which he warned only give you one chance. We really had an amazing day that we will remember for years to come. If I ever get the chance to come back to the area, Ryan and Orvis Northwest will be the first people I call. Thanks again Ryan for a really special day on the river!

We did a full day walk and wade on the North Fork with Ryan as our guide. He was totally awesome from start to finish! Super cool guy who grew up in the area and knows every rock in the river. Within 10 minutes I hear the laughing and splashing sounds of my girlfriend catching her first trout, and a native cutthroat at that! He put us on some really nice fish (17-18 inches) and lost a couple of monsters, which he warned only give you one chance. We really had an amazing day that we will remember for years to come. If I ever get the chance to come back to the area, Ryan and Orvis Northwest will be the first people I call. Thanks again Ryan for a really special day on the river!
