Roundhill Pines Resort
Round Hill Pines is widely regarded as one of the top beach spots on Lake Tahoe, and it's easy to see why. The lakeside setting is genuinely beautiful, the water stays shallow far from shore making it great for wading, and the on-site restaurant and bar are consistent crowd favorites. The signature "Painkiller" cocktail gets called out by name more than once, and the bartenders earn high marks for friendliness and strong pours. The overall vibe is calm and relaxed, with stunning sunset views and a laid-back atmosphere that works well for families and adults alike. It's a smaller venue, so don't expect a sprawling resort, but most visitors find the size adds to its charm rather than detracting from it. The staff is frequently described as super friendly, and the amenities offer enough to keep people busy throughout the day. One negative review raised a serious concern about how a guest with a service animal was treated at the entrance, which is worth noting for anyone who may be in a similar situation. That said, the overwhelming majority of visitors leave with glowing impressions, and the venue has built a strong reputation over many visits and seasons.
I got there at 8am and there was plenty of parking lot still. Regular parking 12 per day but i was there on the 4th of July so it was 25 per day
