1.5-3 Hours
Tubes, safety gear, shuttle
Float down the Wisconsin River at your own pace while the current does the work. Your tube includes a backrest and cup holders, plus a shuttle service back.
Arrive 15–30 minutes early. Minors under 18 need an adult to sign a waiver on-site and must be accompanied by an adult in their group. Minors must wear a life vest at all times (provided).
No penalty to reschedule or cancel due to severe weather; full refund not stated. Not due to severe weather: 30+ days prior full refund minus $10/item/day and/or $5/person/trip, plus transaction/booking fees. Under 72 hours: full reservation forfeited. No-shows forfeit all funds.
Wear securely fitting shoes (water shoes or old tennis shoes). Flip flops are not suitable. Most guests wear a bathing suit or shorts and a T-shirt, and you may get wet. Bring river shoes and a dry pair for after.
Bring food and beverages if you’d like. Coolers are allowed, but do not bring glass or styrofoam containers on the river. Cooler tubes are available for rent. Bring a garbage bag (or ask for one at the counter) and do not litter.

Wildwood has clearly built something special in northern Wisconsin. Reviewers consistently rave about the exceptionally friendly staff and owners Nicole and her husband, who seem to create a welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel like old friends. The offerings are diverse—kayaking on the chain, tubing and floating down the Wisconsin River, camping, and entertainment like games and a dunk tank at the office. Many visitors return year after year, drawn back by the belly laughs and lasting memories they've made here. The service quality stands out across the board, with staff like Reese earning specific mentions for outstanding service. People appreciate the smooth logistics—from clear instructions to punctual pickups—that make group outings effortless, even with nearly 20 people. The equipment gets consistent praise for being in great shape. One practical heads-up: there's a significant drop-off about five yards into the water at the campground, so keep that in mind if you have young swimmers. The ice cream at the end of your adventure is apparently the perfect finishing touch!
Our Living the Dream kayak float was so beautiful and peaceful. Nicole and her husband provided excellent and professional service. We can’t wait to come back next year and do the Bucket List Tour. 🤩 ice cream was a great way to end the day after all that paddling!
