Fly Over Ruth Amphitheater From Talkeetna

Take a 1-hour scenic flight from Talkeetna to view Ruth Amphitheater and the Ruth Gorge. Fly up the Ruth Glacier for wide alpine views and detailed glacier scenery on the return.

• Depart from Talkeetna and fly over river and forest lands toward the Alaska Range
• Fly up the Ruth Glacier and through the Ruth Gorge
• Circle Ruth Amphitheater and view Don Sheldon’s Mountain House
• Look for Mt. Dickey and the Moose’s Tooth along the route
• Return at a lower altitude to see more glacier details
• Watch for possible moose or black bear as you fly back over vegetation
