What should I bring with me on the tour?
We recommend bringing water shoes, a hat, sunglasses, environmentally safe sunscreen, a shelling bag or bucket (available for purchase), and cash for parking (afternoon tours) and gratuity. Water and tea are provided. You may also want to bring snacks, a waterproof phone case, and a jacket or towel during cooler months.

Are there restrooms on the boat?
Yes, our 25-foot Sea Pro boats include a flushable toilet onboard for your convenience. We also recommend using the restroom facilities at the boat park before departure for afternoon tours.

Is this tour suitable for children?
Yes, our shelling tours are family-friendly and enjoyed by guests of all ages. Our educational programs are engaging for children. Please contact us if you have specific questions about bringing young children.

Will I definitely find a lot of shells?
While we take you to locations known for their abundant shelling opportunities, the discovery of shells is ultimately subject to natural conditions. Our experienced guides will do their best to ensure a successful and rewarding shelling experience for everyone.

The consistent theme across years of tours with this operator is genuinely friendly, knowledgeable crews who make shelling adventures memorable. Captains like Brandon, Jim, Trevor, and Richard navigate expertly to prime spots, while guides including Hannah, Caitlin, Amanda, and Dominic provide helpful direction without hovering. Many reviewers appreciate the balance of expert advice with freedom to explore at their own pace, plus thoughtful touches like water check-ins during what they call "the sport" of shelling. What stands out is how many guests return year after year, often requesting favorite crew members by name. The early morning departures get you to islands before crowds arrive, and successful finds include bucket-list shells like Junonia and horse conchs. Bonus dolphin encounters seem to happen frequently. Tours range from 4 to 6 hours hitting multiple islands, and the crew adapts to weather conditions to ensure the best experience. The responsive communication from ownership and consistent quality across all staff members creates confidence that whichever guide and captain you get, you're in capable hands.

Absolutely amazing trip! Amanda B was an amazing shell guide, so personable and knowledgeable! I found so many beautiful shells! But to my surprise, the best part of the trip was when Captain Brandon got some dolphins to surf with us. It was the most magical thing I've ever witnessed! Thank you both for the wonderful day and beautiful memories!
