Standing at the heart of Mason City, Iowa, the City National Bank Building draws you in with its low horizontal lines and richly detailed terracotta facade. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1909, this landmark anchors the only remaining Wright-designed urban block in the world. As you approach the City National Bank Building, the interplay of geometric ornament and warm earth tones makes the architecture feel both monumental and deeply human in scale.
