- A $300 damage hold applies to your credit card, separate from the listed price. You are responsible for damage costs beyond the deposit
- Late returns of 15 minutes or more incur a charge of $65 per 15 minutes, prorated, plus applicable taxes and fees. This is not included in the listed price
- Stained upholstery incurs a $50 cleaning charge. If cleaning is not possible, replacement or reupholstery costs apply instead. These charges are not included in the listed price
- Missing, broken or damaged items incur a $25 charge per item plus actual repair or replacement costs, separate from the listed price
- Only the renter may operate the boat. Stay within the Detroit River, south of Mud Island in Wyandotte and north of Celeron Island
- Do not operate after dark or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other impairing substances. Do not tow people or objects
- Follow boating laws, posted safety rules and instructions from staff or authorities. Do not repair, modify or alter the boat or its equipment
- Do not release oil, gasoline, untreated sewage or other hazardous substances into the water. You are responsible for cleanup costs and penalties resulting from a release
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund or credit. You'll also receive a full refund or credit if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.

Yes. An optional $50 damage liability waiver covers up to $750 of damage to the boat or its components. Coverage applies only when damage exceeds the $300 damage deposit. The $50 charge is not included in the listed price.
