Itinerary

1. For all options except Full Day, Depart Cairns + Snorkelling + Lunch, pickup is available from selected hotels between 05:50 and 07:30. Additional pickup charges may apply and are not included in the listed price.
2. Meet at Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal between 07:15 and 07:45. For either option including a flight, meet at the Down Under Cruise and Dive Desk inside the terminal.
3. Depart Cairns aboard Evolution at 08:00 and cruise toward the Great Barrier Reef.
4. Reach the first reef location at 09:45 and explore the reef by snorkelling. The Full Day, Depart Cairns, Snorkel + Intro Dive + Lunch and Full Day, Depart Cairns + Introductory Dive + Flight + Lunch options also include an introductory dive.
5. Enjoy a barbecue lunch onboard at 11:30. The menu may change with the season and ingredient availability.
6. Arrive at the second reef location at 13:00. On the Full Day, Depart Cairns + Snorkel + Flight + Lunch and Full Day, Depart Cairns + Introductory Dive + Flight + Lunch options, take a scenic helicopter flight here.
7. Depart the reef at 15:00 for the cruise back to Cairns.
8. Return to Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal at 16:30. Return timing and location may vary by pickup or meeting point.

Important details

• Snorkelling requires a minimum age of 4. Introductory diving requires a minimum age of 12; no previous diving experience or certification is needed.
• Children aged 0–16 require an accompanying paying adult. Adult fares apply from age 17.
• Child fares cover ages 4–16, or ages 3–16 for the dive-and-flight option. Children aged 0–3 join free on the other options.
• Helicopter flights have a weight limit of 130 kg.
• Divers aged 65+ require a current diving medical certificate.
• Some medical conditions, including asthma, heart or lung conditions, epilepsy and high blood pressure, and some prescribed medications may prevent you from diving.
• This activity is not recommended for anyone with high blood pressure, epilepsy or other serious medical conditions.
• The boat is not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible.
• Complete a health and medication questionnaire before diving.
• Arrive 15 minutes before departure for options without a flight, or 30 minutes before departure for options including a flight. Late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded.
