When should we arrive for our rental?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time to load your belongings and complete the required safety and operating briefing.
Do I need to sign anything or provide a card to reserve?
A waiver must be signed prior to leaving the dock, and a credit card must be on file in order to reserve the watercraft.
What happens if we arrive late, and will our rental time be extended?
Rental times begin and end as scheduled, regardless of arrival time. A 15-minute grace period is provided after your scheduled start time; arrivals exceeding the grace period may be charged a late arrival fee of $100 per 30 minutes, and rental time will not be extended due to late arrival.
What is the return-time policy if we bring the boat back late?
Boats must be returned to the Lake Bowen Boat Ramp by your designated end time. A 15-minute grace period is provided for returns; returns exceeding the grace period may incur a late return fee of $100 per 30 minutes.
What is the weather policy?
If severe or unsafe weather conditions (such as thunderstorms or high winds) make boating unsafe, you will be contacted and offered a reschedule at no additional cost (weather-related decisions are made at the operator’s discretion based on safety conditions). Light rain, cloudy skies, or non-hazardous forecasted weather do not qualify for weather-related cancellations.
