Itinerary
- Arrival & Welcome Arrive 15 minutes early at Wolverine Park Marina for safety briefing and boarding.
- Departure & Bay Sailing (First 90 Minutes) We raise sails and head into Presque Isle Bay while you get comfortable with the boat and basic sailing concepts.
- Lunch & Midday Exploration (Hours 11:30–12:30 PM) Enjoy your lunch and the best conversations about sailing, lifestyle, and the water.
- Open Water Sailing (Hours 12:30 PM–3:00 PM) We sail offshore until land disappears, offering the transformative moment many guests describe as unforgettable.
- Afternoon Sailing & Skills Development (Hours 3:00–5:00 PM) We return toward shore with time for deeper skill-building in whatever interests you most.
- Return & Farewell We dock around 5:00 PM for a brief debrief and goodbye.
Important details
- Book at least 3 weeks in advance
- Arrive 15 minutes early for the safety briefing and boarding
- Ages 10+ only
- Minimum weight 50 lbs due to Coast Guard life jacket requirements
- Requires climbing into and out of the boat unassisted over a 2–3 foot step
- Requires moving safely on a tilted, moving surface
- Sign a liability waiver before departure
- Not recommended during pregnancy
- Expect route, timing, and sailing or motor-sailing plans to adjust for weather, lake conditions, and group comfort
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before start. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather. No-shows are charged full price.

Book at least 8 weeks in advance. This trip runs in a limited season and is limited to 1–2 expeditions per season.
All passengers must be at least 10 years old and weigh at least 50 pounds. You must be able to climb into and out of the boat unassisted (about a 3–4 foot step) and move safely on a tilted, moving surface. This trip is not recommended for pregnant women.
Wear flat, soft-soled shoes with non-marking soles (like sneakers). If you sail in May, June, or September, wear pants and bring a jacket.
