Full Moon Kayak Tour in Fajardo

Paddle through Laguna Grande under full-moon conditions, following mangrove channels with guides who share the area’s ecology and history. Moonlight can reduce or eliminate bioluminescence visibility, especially around full-moon nights.

Know before you go

• Arrive at 5:45pm from April through September or 5:15pm from October through March for check-in and safety training
• Ages 6+ only; children 12 and under must ride in the same kayak as an adult, and ages 13–17 require an adult on the tour
• Weight limit 230 lbs per person, height limit 6 ft 4 in, and combined kayak weight limit 450 lbs
• Requires speaking and understanding English or Spanish
• Complete a required waiver before departure
• No swimming is permitted in Laguna Grande
• No alcohol during the tour; intoxication or impairment prevents participation
• Not available for pregnancy beyond six months or for back, neck, shoulder, heart, epilepsy, severe asthma, recent-surgery, dizziness, motion-sickness, or severe mosquito or sargassum-sulfur allergy concerns
• Expect mosquitoes and wear clothing and water shoes that can get wet; bring towels and dry clothes for afterward
