Explore Galveston’s Historic Strand District through its Victorian-era buildings, ironwork, and grand facades. Hear how architect Nicholas Clayton and the 1900 Storm shaped the island’s streetscape.
We will walk from the steps of the Galveston Railroad Museum at 25th and Strand down to 20th street, we will go down to Post Office Street and we will make our way through the historic district ending back at the Galveston Railroad Museum!
