4-Hour Going-to-the-Sun Road Tour in Glacier National Park

Itinerary

The tour begins with our one and only pick up from the Quarter Circle Parking lot, which is just inside the west entrance to Glacier National Park. Once you pass through the entrance gate, there will be a sign marking a left turn. If you reach the 3-way stop, you have gone too far. From there, we travel along the western side of Going to the Sun Road which parallels Lake McDonald and McDonald Creek, before gaining elevation into the high country.

Along the way, the bus will make several 10-15 minute stops for breathtaking views and spectacular photo opportunities before arriving at Logan Pass. Our longest stop is typically at the Logan Pass Visitor Center, where you will have time to wander around at the top of the world! From there, we travel back down the mountain to conclude at our starting point.

#OPERATING SEASON: June 30 - September 30th

• Our Half-Day West Side Tour will begin once the Going-to-the-Sun Road is fully open to Logan Pass. We anticipate starting operations on June 30th , but this date is weather-dependent and may be delayed. If the road opens earlier, tours may be available earlier.

• Arrive about 15 minutes before the 9:00am pickup
• Bring a National Park Entrance Pass before meeting the bus
• Children and infants may join only with an adult
