What sets these tours apart is the indigenous perspective. The guides are Blackfeet tribal members who share their deep connection to Glacier National Park through stories, cultural insights, and personal experiences. Visitors consistently praise guides like Joseph, Lester, Roland, and Jack Gladstone for being knowledgeable, entertaining, and willing to share meaningful aspects of their heritage. The tours provide access to less-traveled routes through the reservation and help navigate popular areas like Logan Pass when vehicle access is limited. The experience seems to vary somewhat depending on which guide you get and what you're looking for. Most travelers appreciate the personal storytelling approach, though a few expected more structured commentary. Jack Gladstone, who plays guitar and sings during stops, earns both enthusiastic praise and occasional criticism for his performance-style approach. Weather can impact visibility and hiking opportunities, though guides work to make the best of conditions. The tours offer a genuinely different way to experience the park, especially for those interested in understanding the land through a Native American lens.

We had a wonderful bus tour (8am-4pm, heated/AC) over the Logan Pass and backwards to the Glacier National Park Lodge. Our driver and guide Arlan shared numerous stories and songs of the Native People, especially the local Blackfeet. We stopped many times for taking pictures and exploring the spots during a mystic partly-cloudy weather. Stops to buy breakfest and lunch were included. It was a unique experience and is definetely recommendable!
