Things to know

Children 17 and under must ride with an adult; ages 0–4 require a car seat and ages 5–7 a booster (provided or bring your own). Foldable wheelchairs and walkers may ride; a companion must assist with boarding. One small bag per passenger; tours run in most weather when roads are open; check in 15–30 minutes early; private Hummer seats up to 13.

FAQs

Does this tour go below the rim or include any off road travel?
No, tours use paved public roads only. Off-road travel is not permitted and there are no roads below the rim.

Do you provide pickup?
Complimentary pickup is offered in Tusayan and inside the park. During busy seasons, some tour times do not include in-park pickup.

What happens if it's cold, raining, or snowing?
Hummers are enclosed and heated, and blankets are provided.

What viewpoints do we go to?
Tours visit 3–4 viewpoints selected by your guide.

Are pets allowed on the tour?
Pets are allowed on private tours only. Service animals are permitted on all tours.

Are service animals permitted?
Only dogs are recognized as service animals under the ADA. Staff may ask permitted ADA questions. Please notify at least 48 hours in advance if a service dog will accompany you.
