Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before start; a 10% nonrefundable deposit applies. No refund within 48 hours. If weather limits telescope viewing, receive up to a 90% partial refund. If stargazing is canceled for weather before it begins, there is no charge.
FAQs
Dress for large temperature changes. Bring long pants, a warm jacket, closed-toe shoes with thick socks, and a hat. Winter temperatures can be well below freezing.
Most telescopes require climbing a ladder to reach the eyepiece. A telescope that does not require a ladder is available only for private programs.
Explore planets, stars, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies. Distant objects generally appear as small white fuzzy spots rather than colorful magazine-style images. Moon phase can reduce detail in deep-space objects near a full moon.
