Important details
- Arrive 15–20 minutes early for vest fitting and the safety briefing
- Ages 5+ only, with a minimum child weight of 40 lb
- Children under 16 must ride tandem with an adult age 18+
- Solo paddlers must be 16+ and accompanied by an adult age 18+
- Weight limit 260 lb per person; guests taller than 6'1" up to 6'8" may weigh up to 300 lb
- Expect a possible weight check at arrival if you weigh over 200 lb
- Wear the provided life vest at all times
- Not recommended for heart, respiratory, or serious back conditions, pregnancy in the second trimester or later, or recent surgery
- Accurate height and weight information is required; exceeding limits prevents participation and is not refundable
- If driving, expect a National Park entry fee of $25 per vehicle, including parking, not included in the listed price
- If arriving by shuttle, expect a National Park entry fee of $15 per person, not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 24 hours before start to avoid a full charge. No-shows and later cancellations are charged in full. Group bookings require 72 hours' notice. If severe weather makes the tour unsafe, it will be refunded or rescheduled at no extra charge.
FAQs
No. You’ll get basic paddling instruction and a safety briefing, and you must wear a life vest at all times. Non-swimmers are welcome—tell your guide if you can’t swim.
Wear swimwear or quick-dry, layered clothing and plan for wet feet and ankles. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses, and wear water shoes or sandals (no flip flops). You can also bring a refillable water bottle and an optional towel or change of clothes.
Pets (dogs only) require prior approval, a fee, and must be house-trained. Emotional support animals are not allowed. Service animals require prior approval.
