Cactus Jack’s Trail Rides, 11100 SW 16th Ave., Ocala, FL 34476
Cactus Jack's delivers consistently excellent trail riding experiences, with reviewers praising the operation's professional organization from check-in to departure. The horses here are clearly well-cared for and expertly matched to riders of all experience levels, from nervous beginners to returning guests. Guides like Katie and Layla earn particular recognition for being knowledgeable, attentive, and skilled at making everyone feel comfortable and safe on the trails. The peaceful, shaded woodland routes appeal to families, couples celebrating special occasions, and even riders returning to horses after decades away. Multiple guests mention how responsive and well-trained the horses are, with thoughtful touches like mounting platforms for those with mobility concerns. One reviewer noted that the posted ride duration includes time for mounting and instruction, which can feel long for experienced riders, and the saddles are quite firm. However, the overwhelming sentiment points to a well-run operation where horses receive excellent care and guests leave with memorable experiences they're eager to repeat.
