Bring a valid, signed Alaska sport fishing license that covers the date and time of your ice fishing trip. A King Salmon Stamp is not required.
Dress in multiple winter layers, including a hat, gloves, face protection, and boots rated for subzero temperatures. Extreme cold can cause frostbite within minutes if you are not properly dressed.
