Bring a valid, signed Alaska sport fishing license that covers the date and time of your ice fishing trip. A King Salmon Stamp is not required.
Dress in multiple winter layers, including a hat, gloves, face protection, and boots rated for subzero temperatures. Extreme cold can cause frostbite within minutes if you are not properly dressed.
Bring any snacks and drinks you would like. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are provided.
