Explore a 4-mile stretch of the Upper Ocmulgee River in the Seven Islands area, where the river winds through wooded corridors and around islands. Paddle calm, green sections mixed with easy Class 1 shoals, with a shuttle back to your car.
No music on speakers; use earbuds only. Private boats booked with the shuttle may join the trip and return on the Ocmulgee Outdoor Expeditions bus.
Cancel more than 1 week before your trip for a full refund minus a $10 per person non-refundable booking fee. Within 1 week, trip fees are nonrefundable. The operator may cancel for any reason; the booking fee is non-refundable whether you cancel or they do.
Dress to get wet in synthetic clothing (avoid jeans and cotton). Wear river shoes/sandals or old running shoes. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, and water; a bathing suit and shorts are recommended. A small, soft-sided cooler fits in each boat.
