You do not need to know how to swim to participate. If you do not know how to swim, you must wear a special vest that keeps you at the surface while you breathe from the regulator and stay with the raft.

Josh, Dennis, and the rest of the crew have clearly built something special here. Reviewers consistently praise the team's patience with first-timers, their genuine warmth toward guests with special needs or milestone occasions, and their ability to make underwater breathing feel completely manageable for nervous beginners. Dennis gets called out repeatedly for his humor and knack for keeping people calm in the water, while Captain Josh earns praise for smooth, professional seamanship. Beyond the snuba experience itself, the crew's flexibility and communication stand out. Multiple guests mention last-minute scheduling adjustments handled without fuss, and the team has a reputation for going out of their way for guests with disabilities or unique circumstances. Visibility at the reef is occasionally mentioned as underwhelming, but reviewers are quick to note that's simply nature doing its thing. Several guests left so inspired they're now planning to get fully scuba certified, which probably says more about the experience than any review could.
Had a great experience with a party of 3. We went on a private charter to Looe Key Reef. If there's one good thing I can say about this company is that they are extremely well accommodating and caring. We got to see a bunch on our SNUBA trip, although I wish I saw a shark, but nothing that happened in the water compares the the hospitality this crew had for my disabled Mom who wanted to experience the reefs just like anyone else!
