Important details
- Ages 6+ only
- Requires meeting American Canoe Association eligibility criteria, including floating face-up in a life jacket and exiting and reentering a capsized paddlecraft
- Sign the required liability waiver, which includes equipment terms, a photo release, and mediation or arbitration terms
- Bring and wear warm, waterproof layers and sturdy shoes suitable for cold conditions
- Cold-water immersion can cause hypothermia; guides may require an exposure suit in extreme conditions
- Do not use alcohol, drugs, or other impairing substances before or during the trip
- A credit card may be kept on file for equipment damage, loss, unusual cleaning, or late-return costs
- An optional round-trip shuttle from Anchorage costs $175 per group and is not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel before 5 PM the day before for a full refund minus credit card processing fees. Cancellations after 5 PM the day before and no-shows aren't refunded. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late are no-shows. Trips may be modified, postponed, or canceled for weather; receive a full refund if the operator cancels.

This winter kayaking trip requires meeting the American Canoe Association's Essential Eligibility Criteria, including maintaining an airway underwater, floating face-up in a life jacket, getting out from under a capsized paddlecraft, and reentering it with reasonable assistance if needed.
Wetsuits are available on request in limited supply and must be reserved in advance. You may choose whether to wear one, though guides may require an exposure suit in extreme weather, high winds, or particularly cold conditions.
Your guide may turn you back or end your participation if skill, fitness, mobility, health, or safety concerns prevent you from safely keeping pace on your paddling trip. No refund is issued in these cases.
