• A Park Service sunrise reservation is required for sunrise access
• A Haleakala National Park entrance fee applies and is not included in the listed price
• The cardholder must be present at pickup, and a security-deposit authorization hold is required before vehicle release
• Eye protection is required; bring sunglasses or purchase them at the location
• Sunscreen is needed; apply it before entering the Slingshot
• A $95 charge applies if you do not pre-purchase fuel and return the vehicle without refilling it
• Late returns incur additional charges and do not extend the rental period
• Without the optional Damage Waiver, you are responsible for damage up to the vehicle's replacement value; with it, physical-damage responsibility is limited to $750
• Without optional towing coverage, you are responsible for towing charges, which can exceed $2,000 in Hawaii
