Enjoy a half-day on Lake Bowen aboard a spacious 24-foot pontoon boat. You’ll get a full safety and operation briefing, then head out to relax, swim, and explore at your own pace.
Vessel operators must be at least 25 years of age with a valid ID. A waiver must be signed and a credit card must be on file to reserve. No pets, glass containers, or grills are allowed on the boat; children under 12 must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket at all times on board.
Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund. Requests within 72 hours incur a $200 cancellation/rescheduling fee. No-shows are charged the full rental amount. Severe or unsafe weather may be rescheduled at the provider’s discretion; light rain or cloudy weather does not qualify.
When should we arrive for our rental?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled rental time to load your belongings and complete the required safety and operating briefing.
What happens if we arrive late—does our rental time get extended?
Rental times begin and end as scheduled, regardless of arrival time. A 15-minute grace period is provided after your scheduled start time; arrivals beyond that may be charged $100 per 30 minutes, and rental time will not be extended due to late arrival.
What is the late return policy?
Please return the boat to the Lake Bowen Boat Ramp by your designated end time. A 15-minute grace period is provided; returns beyond that may incur a late fee of $100 per 30 minutes.
What is the weather policy?
If severe or unsafe weather (such as thunderstorms or high winds) makes boating unsafe, you will be contacted and offered a reschedule at no additional cost, at the provider’s discretion. Light rain, cloudy skies, or non-hazardous forecasted weather do not qualify for weather-related cancellations.
Can I reschedule, and how does timing affect fees?
