This equestrian center seems to have a split personality when it comes to customer service. The guides, especially Brian and Jody, get consistent praise for being friendly, knowledgeable, and creating memorable experiences on the trails. The horses themselves are reportedly well-cared for, healthy, and gentle, which matters a lot to experienced riders evaluating the facility. Families rave about pony rides for young kids, with patient staff making it easy even for toddlers. The grounds are well-maintained and the overall riding experience gets enthusiastic thumbs up from most visitors. However, there's a noticeable disconnect with the office staff. Multiple reviewers mention feeling ignored or not acknowledged when checking in, which creates an awkward start to what should be an exciting outing. More concerning are a couple of complaints about the beach rides not delivering what was advertised. The tide situation apparently affects how much actual beach riding you'll get, and some visitors felt misled about what to expect, ending up on roads and residential areas instead of sandy shores. One incident involving a guest getting their foot stepped on during dismount raises some safety questions. If you're booking a coastline ride, it's probably worth calling ahead to ask about tide schedules and getting realistic expectations about how much beach time you'll actually have versus other terrain.
We chose the 90 minute ride to the beach. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Nice easy pace & the scenery was picture perfect. We rode on horses named Sam, Bandit & Grady. Bandit was a little snackie, Sam was sweet & slow and Grady wanted to be next to the lead horse. All different personalities but was perfect. Plus we got to meet their newest edition to the farm, Baby Leah, born May 4th. Adorable
