Ghost hunting enthusiasts consistently praise the guides here for bringing passion and knowledge to every tour. Emily, David, Erika, India, and Nadine all get called out by name for their engaging storytelling and historical expertise. What really sets these tours apart is the hands-on approach: every guest gets their own ghost hunting equipment like EMF readers, spirit boxes, and dowsing rods. Reviews mention genuine paranormal experiences, from spirit box responses to unexplained readings, and many first-timers found it approachable rather than over-the-top theatrical. Tours visit multiple haunted locations around Phoenix and Tempe, often ending at Melinda's Alley Speakeasy for craft cocktails. A couple of reviewers had logistical frustrations worth noting. Parking downtown can be tricky to navigate and expensive, and one person felt the tour ran significantly over time while another thought it lacked depth at certain stops. One reviewer also had concerns about a rushed experience with staff creating jump scares that felt inauthentic. These seem like isolated incidents though, as the overwhelming majority describe well-organized tours with knowledgeable guides who balance entertainment with genuine ghost hunting. The variety of tour options and the use of professional equipment make this a solid pick for both believers and curious skeptics looking to explore Phoenix's haunted history.
We had a great time. Our tour guide David did a great job. I loved being able to use the equipment and being able to go into the hotel. My family and I really enjoyed feeling like we made contact with spirits. I would highly recommend participating with this tour if you're close to Tempe AZ.
