Tackle a moderate out-and-back hike up Joe's Canyon to Coronado Peak, with views into Sonora, Mexico and the San Pedro River Valley. Take a short detour to the barbed wire border fence for photos by the 1853 treaty obelisk.
Hiking shoes and long pants are required. Expect some uneven ground and loose rock; no technical climbing equipment or expertise is required.
