Ride through Hill Country State Natural Area, a 5,400-acre equestrian park with varied terrain and scenic views. Enjoy a guided half-day ride with a lunch break on the trail.
Riders must be ages 12+ with intermediate to advanced skills. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory; long pants and boots recommended. Pace is walk or as agreed with the guide.
Day rides: Cancel more than 1 week before for a full refund; cancel 1 week to 24 hours before for a 50% refund; within 24 hours is nonrefundable. If the operator cancels due to weather or with a doctor's prescription, you will be fully reimbursed.

The land is beautiful and the horses were nice and calm. We had a beautiful afternoon with Bandera Historical Rides for their ranch ride. My boys have never gone horseback riding and after the trip they said how much they enjoyed it. The land is beautiful and the horses were nice and calm. I would highly recommend taking time to drive to Bandera, go horseback riding with Bandera Historical Rides, and see the beautiful hill country.
