Important details

• All ages are welcome. Children ages 0–3 enter free; adult admission applies from age 15.
• Reduced admission is available to seniors ages 62+, active-duty U.S. military members and honorably discharged veterans. Bring photo ID for check-in.
• Pets are not allowed. Service animals with valid identification are permitted.
• Stay on designated pathways. Do not pick plants, leaves or flowers, or climb trees. Do not feed, harass or throw objects at animals, and avoid loud noises.
• Obtain any applicable permit for personal or professional photography, filming or photo shoots on the grounds. Flash photography is prohibited.
• Smoking is prohibited except for unfiltered cigars. Barbecuing, grilling and cooking are prohibited.
• Do not bring balloons, balls, bicycles, rollerblades, skates, scooters, skateboards, frisbees, kites, drones, remote-controlled boats or cars, tents, canopies or in-ground umbrellas.
• Do not bring bottles, candles, open flames, fireworks, firecrackers, lasers, confetti, glitter or other dangerous or disruptive items. Fishing and swimming are prohibited.
• The estate is open daily from 10:00 to 17:00, with last entry at 16:00. It is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day; hours and closure dates may change.
• Guided nature preserve tours run daily at 12:30 from October through May, weather permitting. Sign up at the ticket booth on arrival; spaces are subject to availability.
