Fish offshore from Homer aboard the Sea-Gar, a 30-foot Raider built for a hands-on day on the water. Halibut is the primary target, with other species pursued according to season, time, and conditions.
7 am arrival at the dock for 9 and 10 hour trips. (Can be altered based on tides. If needed, this will be communicated to everyone in your party at least 24 hours prior to departure)
8 am arrival at the dock for 8 hour trips (Can be altered based on tides. If needed, this will be communicated to everyone in your party at least 24 hours prior to departure)
Introduction to the captain and crew.
Required registration of Alaska Fishing licenses and issuance and payment for Federal Halibut Stamps for all anglers 18 years and older.
Safety Briefing for all passengers.
Signing of both the Liability waiver for all passengers and the Photo credit waiver.
Departure of the dock, typically no later than 30 minutes after arrival and boarding time.
Fishing fun from 3 to 80 miles offshore, depending on water and weather conditions, targeted species and season.
Return to Port of Homer while your crew cleans and filet your catch, weather and water conditions permitting.
Safe return of all passengers and crew to our slip typically by 3:30 PM for 8 hour trips.
This booking is for the whole experience, which fits up to 6 guests.
Cancel or modify 45 or more calendar days before departure for a full refund. Cancellations within 45 days forfeit all funds paid, except for weather- or mechanical-related cancellations at the captain's discretion.

With an available permit, you may retain one qualifying halibut of any size beyond the two-fish daily limit or on closed halibut-retention days. Permits are limited and must be available when the fish is landed.
