Jason and Kevin (the founder) lead an exceptional eco-tour experience through Maui's Honolua Ridge that consistently leaves visitors impressed and inspired. The guides share a genuine passion for Hawaiian conservation that comes through in every tour, weaving together lessons on native plants, Hawaiian history, mythology, and the island's vital watershed ecosystem. Their knowledge is extensive, but what really resonates with visitors is the relaxed pace that allows time for questions, photos, and meaningful connection with the landscape. Several reviewers mention returning multiple times because they learn something new each visit. The hike itself strikes a perfect balance: substantial enough to feel rewarding but accessible for most fitness levels, moving through lush rainforest to sweeping ridge views. The terrain stays comfortable thanks to tree shade and breezes, and mosquitoes are rarely an issue. Groups tend to be smaller, which allows guides to accommodate different paces and interests. Travelers consistently describe this as a highlight of their Maui trip, with many calling it the best tour they've taken in Hawaii. You'll leave with not just beautiful memories, but a deeper appreciation for Hawaiian culture and environmental stewardship.

A huge thank you for the AMAZING tour. It was 10/10 excellent! It was a very special gift to be shown some of Maui's most beautiful forest landscapes. Jason perfectly wove together a lesson on the history, biology, and mythology of this place, holding our interest the entire time. We were also inspired to learn about and see some of the ongoing conservation efforts happening on this precious island. Mahalo!
