Important details

• Ages 7+ only. Children must be able to sit upright and use the reins with both hands.
• Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds, strictly enforced. Height and weight must be proportional; saddles measure 17 inches from front to back.
• Requires climbing four steps to the mounting platform, mounting and dismounting without assistance, balancing safely, and controlling the reins. Walking casts, splint boots, canes, and walkers are not permitted.
• Participation is not permitted while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• One rider per horse; children cannot ride with an adult.
• Wear closed-toe shoes. Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, and slip-on shoes are not permitted.
• Wear a provided helmet if you are under 18. Keep hair loose or start ponytails and braids at the nape of your neck; buns and braids on top of the head are not permitted.
• Leave backpacks, fanny packs, and body bags off the ride. Use the provided medical saddlebags for medically necessary supplies.
• Complete the liability waiver. Horseback riding carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death, and horses may react unpredictably.
• Follow your guide's instructions and keep your horse at a walk. Do not trot, canter, run, race, or try to make your horse go faster.
• Treat horses and others respectfully. Do not yell, ride aggressively, strike horses, pull excessively on the reins, feed horses without permission, or leave the group without guide approval. Unsafe behavior may end your ride.
• Do not take personal photos or videos during the ride, including with phones, cameras, GoPros, or drones.
• You may appear in promotional photos or videos unless you opt out in writing.
