Important details

• Gourmet Getaway: ages 4+ only. Child tickets cover ages 4–16; senior tickets are for ages 65+.
• Horseback riding: ages 10+ only, with a weight limit of less than 115 kg. Child tickets cover ages 10–17. The ride is not recommended for anyone with serious medical conditions.
• Giraffe encounter: children ages 0–15 require a paying adult accompanying them. Ages 0–2 go free, child tickets cover ages 3–15, and adult rates apply from age 16.
• Wine and Cheese Tasting and the Sydney, Hunter Valley and Newcastle departure tours: ages 18+ only. Bring valid ID as proof of age.
• The Sydney, Hunter Valley and Newcastle departure tours are not recommended for anyone with medical conditions such as high blood pressure or epilepsy.
• Gourmet Getaway, Wine and Cheese Tasting, and the Sydney, Hunter Valley and Newcastle departure tours are not wheelchair- or stroller-accessible. Hunter Valley Wine, Beer and Spirits and the giraffe encounter are wheelchair- and stroller-accessible.
• Wine and Cheese Tasting cannot accommodate lactose intolerance.
• For horseback riding, wear enclosed shoes and long pants. If your child is too nervous to ride once mounted, the experience changes to a 30-minute family ride with an instructor leading the child on foot; no refund applies to this change.
• For the Sydney, Hunter Valley and Newcastle departure tours, wear closed-toe shoes; they are required for the winery portion.
• For the giraffe encounter, avoid strong perfume and feed animals only with staff permission. Alcohol is not allowed in the wildlife park.
• For the giraffe encounter, arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start.
• For Wine and Cheese Tasting, your pickup time is confirmed before the tour. Arrive 5 minutes before departure.
• For the Sydney and Newcastle departure tours, arrive 5 minutes early. Late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded.
• For the Hunter Valley departure tour, pickup is from your property in the Hunter Valley area. Be in the lobby 5 minutes before your pickup time.
