- Complete the Cape Family Boat Rental waiver before pickup
- Match the booking name to the renter signing the rental contract
- Carry photo identification and a Florida boating education ID card if born on or after January 1, 1988, unless an eligible exempt operator is on board and responsible
- Wear the provided engine cut-off switch (ECOS) link when operating above idle speed
- Return the boat with a full fuel tank or pay a $225 one-day or $325 multi-day refueling fee
- Pay a $100 late fee for each additional 30 minutes after the return time

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations require 10 full days' notice. No refunds for cancellations. No-shows and cancellations within 48 hours, day-of cancellations, and late arrivals are charged the full rental fee. Full refund if the operator cancels due to unsafe weather.
FAQs
Visitors may use proof of a boater safety course or equivalent exam that meets or exceeds Florida requirements instead of a Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card. You may also obtain a temporary certificate, valid for 90 days. Carry photo identification when operating the boat.
